We have been mandated for the below mentioned role for a large conglomerate into Metal & Mining business.

Position: Manager Finance

Job Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced Manager - Finance to oversee and manage all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and budgeting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost accounting, financial forecasting, and budgeting processes, with a deep understanding of financial systems and financial reporting.

Job responsibility:

Costing & Financial Analysis:

- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, processes, and methodologies.

- Perform detailed cost analysis for various products/services, ensuring accurate and timely costing data.

- Conduct variance analysis, identifying trends and potential areas for cost control.

- Work closely with the production and operations teams to track and allocate costs efficiently.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

- Lead the preparation and coordination of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

- Provide guidance to department heads for budget preparation and ensure alignment with company objectives.

- Monitor monthly financial performance against the budget and provide variance analysis with actionable recommendations.

- Ensure proper documentation and approval processes for all budgetary changes.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key variances and corrective actions.

- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and financial regulations.

Cost Optimization:

- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements.

- Provide financial input on pricing strategies, product mix, and cost-benefit analyses for new projects.

Qualification: CA.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience
