Primary responsibilities

Finance Function

As a member of senior management team responsible to coordinate financial work . The candidate will review and prepare annual budgets, monthly MIS reports, Banking facility requirements. This candidate should also coordinate with the Company on financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with Company CFO/Finance Manger. Specific responsibilities include:

- Oversee budgeting, and the implementation of budgets, so as to monitor progress and present operational metrics both internally and externally.

- Review MIS and metrics, which help management to improve operational efficiency.

- Ensure that finance staff maintains financial record systems in accordance with IFRS, and monitor the use of all funds.

- Coordinate the preparation and approval of financial reporting materials and metrics for funding organizations; review and communicate monthly and annual audited financial statements.

- Support the Company Management to ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures. Should be able to independently review and streamline processes.

Investments:

- Candidate will take responsibility for modeling, valuation, due diligence of new investments, monitor existing investment portfolio,

- Review Board Meeting packets and discuss with Nominee Directors.

- The person will be required to be involved in presenting / sharing investment ideas via power point presentations to Sr. Management and Owners.

- Candidate will be required to manage relationships with Investment Banks & Private Equity Funds, and engage in dialogue for bringing on board new investment opportunities.

Qualification:

- A minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience in a senior role preferably in Corporate Finance and Investment function.

- CPA/CA/Cost Accountant designation preferred.

- Up to date knowledge of current financial and accounting computer applications.

- Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational and written skills.

- Good working knowledge of MS Office especially MS Excel

Basic Salary:

- The basic salary range for this position could be in the range of RO 1750, Medical, leave travel, company accommodation, company maintained vehicle, insurance & gratuity as per company policy / practice.
