Manager - Finance - Luxury & Lifestyle Business

Finance Manager with one of Oman's leading luxury and lifestyle destination. From its humble beginnings, they have grown in leaps and bounds to become the premier icon in luxury encompassing the world's top luxury brands in beauty, perfume, luxury gift and luxury homeware such as Dior, Guerlain,Clarins, Baccarat, Christofle and other leading luxury brands of the world..

As a Finance Manager you will be responsible to take care of the finance and accounts functions of 8 stores. Will be heading a team and reporting to the Capital store CEO - and dotted line reporting to undersigned/Chairman of the Group

- Timely closure of financial books and accounts, (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual basis) and interpretation of financial performance.

- Incorporate Strong control and monitor periodic cash position with anticipated trends and report it out to top Management.

- Developing internal mechanism and operational controls to mitigate financial risk and leakage of revenue from various streams.

- Work closely with top management in implementing and reviewing the cost control measures initiated across locations in Oman.

- Develop strong relationships internally & externally with bankers, auditors and other external stake holders.

- Strong in managing budgets and produce accurate financial and MIS reports per expected timelines.

- Strong on team management and supervising staff.

- Timely reconciliation of books, internal checks on cash / cheque transfer's, debtors, creditor's reconciliation.

- Put Administrative Control on Fixed Assets Register.its tracking & maintenance records.

- The accounts and finance division is adequately staffed and there will be at least 3 direct reports to the Finance Manager position.

- The company is family business owned and from time to time, the finance head will be expected to update the owners/directors on matters of importance informally too apart from formal meetings.
