Hiring manager Finance for a IT company (MNC )

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Location:Mumbai, India

Travel may be needed as required to other company locations.

Job Description:

- Management

Financial support all areas of the business including Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations

Assist senior management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction

Manage outsourced accounting functions

Ensure business compliance including financial reporting, audit, and tax

Maintain a documented system of accounting policies & procedures

- Funds Management

Forecast cash flow positions and ensure sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements

Maintain banking and vendor relationships

Analyze foreign currency impacts

Manage billings, invoices, and payroll

- Budgeting

Manage the preparation of the company budget

Report to management on variances from the established budget and root causes

- Financial Analysis

Analyze expenses for cost efficiency and cost reduction opportunities

Interpret business financial results to management and recommend improvement activities

Review company bottlenecks and recommend improvements activities

Compile key business metrics and report to management

Create financial models including pricing for products/services

- Contractual Agreements

Manage financial aspects of third-party contracts and agreements

Manage financial aspects of inter-company agreements

Required Skills:

- Excellent English communication skills, particularly in regard to writing and presenting to management

- Highly motivated self-starter

- Ability to think critically and independently

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel

Desired Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration and at least 7+ years of progressively responsible experience

- Experience working for a multi-national organization

- Preference will be given to candidates with an MBA or Chartered Accountant designation
