Job Title: Finance Manager (General Ledger, Treasury, Reporting, Audit, and Compliance)

Job Summary: The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the company, including managing the general ledger, ensuring effective treasury operations, generating accurate financial reports, and maintaining compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of financial processes, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger Management:
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Treasury Operations:
- Manage company's cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs.
- Oversee investment activities, including the management of bank relationships, interest rate risk, and currency exchange risk.
- Develop and implement treasury policies and procedures to optimize the use of cash and manage financial risk.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Provide management with timely financial reports and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate and comprehensive reporting.
Audit and Compliance:
- Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits, ensuring that financial records are accurate and compliant with applicable standards and regulations.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and ensure the company's practices comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the budgeting process, working with department heads to develop accurate and realistic budgets.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis with recommendations for corrective actions. Prepare financial forecasts to support business planning and strategy.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Provide training and development opportunities to ensure team members stay current with industry practices and standards.
- Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide feedback to team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred).
- At least 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with a focus on general ledger, treasury, reporting, audit, and compliance.
- Experience with financial software and tools (SAP)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing and managing high-performing teams.
