Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, etc.) ensuring compliance with accounting standards (IndAS).

- Coordinate with business units to gather financial data, assess performance, and present financial insights to key stakeholders, including the leadership team.

- Analyze financial trends and variances, providing recommendations to enhance financial performance.

- Lead the financial consolidation process across different business units and entities within the organization.

- Ensure timely and accurate consolidation of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

- Manage intercompany transactions and eliminations as part of the consolidation process.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Assist in the development of forecasts, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track financial performance against the budget and recommend adjustments as needed.

Internal Controls & Process Improvement:

- Implement and maintain robust internal controls over financial reporting, ensuring data accuracy and adherence to best practices.

- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency, leveraging automation and technology where appropriate.

Audit and Tax Support:

- Work closely with external auditors during the audit process to ensure timely and smooth audits.

- Support tax planning and reporting requirements, working with external advisors as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4-5 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and accounting (preferably in a startup or fintech environment).

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (Ind AS). - Hands-on experience with financial reporting and consolidation software/tools.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights.

- Excellent organizational, and communication skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, financial modelling, and ERP systems (Tally/ Netsuite/ Microsoft dynamics 365).

- Strong business acumen with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business decisions.
