Manager - Finance - D2C Industry - CA

Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Gurgaon

Experience: 4 to 7 years

Qualification:

- CA certification Attempt 1st or 2nd

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Responsibilities:

- Manage the monthly financial book closing process, ensuring accurate recording of revenue and expenses.

- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.

- Interact with budget owners and stakeholders to facilitate efficient month-end close.

- Prepare internal management and financial reports, leading up to the annual report.

- Assist in compiling information for tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

- Analyze statutory accounting practices and ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, with at least 2-3 years in Ecommerce or Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) industry.

- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax preparation, and statutory accounting practices.

- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

- Certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant).
