Responsibilities:

- Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.

- Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take

- Maintain the financial health of the organization.

- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans.

- Develop trends and projections for the firm's finances.

- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.

- Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.

- Manage the preparation of the company's budget.

- Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.

- Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.

- Monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts

- Should have Tax experience: TDS, GST, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, PT

- ROC filing

- Invoice preparation and payment follow-ups

- Profit and loss statements and other financial reports.

- Prepare balance sheets

- Coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary.

- Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.

- Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.

- Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.

- MIS reporting

Requirements and skills:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in tax, accounting, or finance (CA Intern will also do)

- Minimum 4-8 years' experience in accounting/finance

- Preferred if coming from Consultancy background or any service based company

- Good Communication skills (should be able to interact with clients)

- Tally (very important)

- Should be Deadline oriented

- Should have reporting skills

- Should know time management, data entry management

- A person who can perform a variety of tasks and can work under general supervision
