As the Manager - Finance, you will take ownership of all financial operations and accounting transactions. You will also be responsible for income auditing, AP Processing, A/R collection, tax compliance etc. so as to ensure financial controls, accurate reporting and hotel profitability.
The other responsibilities will be as follows:
- Monitoring that Accounts are accurately prepared within timelines and in accordance with local regulations
- Reviewing Trial Balance of all locations and expenses against each cost centre regularly and suggesting necessary corrections on time
- Reviewing of AP and AR controls and ensuring correct accounting and realization
- Driving quarterly forecasting process including annual target setting
- Accountable for system controls, adherence to the policies and SOPs in all areas having a financial impact
- Reviewing all statutory reports and ensuring appropriate filing
- Providing inputs to various stakeholders on periodic basis on cost and headcount
- Providing appropriate site overviews and financial guidance / assistance to leadership team on various issues
- Monitoring and ensuring timely completion of all audits
- Coordinating internal control questionnaire audits, group internal audits, follow up on audit comments and assisting in implementing corrective action wherever necessary
- Managing Funds and cash flow management
- Creating, maintaining and reporting out various dashboards like flash, forecasts, actual against he benchmarks at MEP level showing revenue/product growth indicators
- Overseeing implementation of forecasting/planning process and model improvement initiatives for the business unit
- Measuring key financial performance indicators and providing actionable insights around trends, highlighting risks and opportunities to management and to key business stakeholders
- Taking leading part in CRM/ERP system integration projects
Candidate Profile:
- Chartered Accountants (CA's) preferred
- 3-5 years of post CA experience & 1-2 years of Big 4 experience
- Exposure to corporate finance, statutory audit is a great add on
- Have a flare for numbers, and work well with people
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills to identify business drivers and summarize key business insights
- Solid systems experience with the ability to interrogate, analyze, consolidate and automate the reporting of information from CRM and ERP systems
- Experience in a multi-currency environment is a great add on
- Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
