Job Description:-

Finance:

Responsible for monthly close and accounting operations for the Companies

- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements based on local accounting requirements

- Annual / Half yearly / Quarterly / Monthly Financial Statements reporting and preparation of financial statements

- Periodic reporting of financial statements to group

- Periodical review of general ledger, reconciliation, Invoicing and Billing, Accounts Receivable and cash reconciliation

- Establish strong financial controls for Accounts Payable function

- Working knowledge of Accounting Standards, IND-AS and IFRS

- Discuss audit plan with External auditors well in advance so Audit conducted with in the agreed time lines

- Oversee the resolution of internal and external audit findings and ensure no repeat or significant audit point

- Support the conduct of statutory audits, Internal Audits, Tax Audit and quarterly / annual audits by ensuring maintenance of all records and documentation as per audit requirements

- Strong knowledge of Accounting System and ability to work with new changes, implementation of new things like IND- AS, GST with the Technology team

- Knowledge of FEMA rules and regulations for Foreign payments

Taxation:

- Sound knowledge of all taxes - Income Tax, Companies Act, GST, PF, PT etc.,

- Ensure timely payment of all statutory dues viz., TDS, GST, PF, PT etc

- Ensure timely filing of direct and indirect tax returns viz., ETDS, GST, Income Tax etc

- Close tax audits as per Income Tax Act

- Transfer Pricing Audits as per Income Tax Act

- Prepare and attend regular tax authority summons, hearings and assessments for Income Tax, GST etc

Internal Control Assessments

- Reviewing of internal controls related to various finance operations, identifying improvements and develop strong process/system

- Ensure compliance to all standard operating procedures (SOPs)

IDF - Mutual Fund

- Strong Knowledge of SEBI Mutual Fund Regulations

- Valuation of Debt Securities

- Knowledge of Settlement Cycle in case of Debt securities - knowledge of CBLO Settlement, primary market settlement, secondary market settlement for CP- s, CD- s through FIMMDA platform

- NAV calculation

- To monitor cash flows of fund and ensure maximize utilization is achieved

- Updating IDF fund status on periodical basis, providing adequate information to Investment team

- Ensure timely submission of applicable compliance report of IDF (laid by SEBI, AMFI, and Internal etc)

- To assist Investment team in analysis of Financial statement of Investee Company, conceptual clarity on consolidation, valuation based on CRISIL matrix and other if any

- To develop an interaction with Investors by providing response to any matter being asked by them with regards to schemes of IDF

- Supervise and oversight of external fund accountant, registrar & transfer agent and custodian

- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements of the Mutual Fund based on local accounting requirements

- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of Half Yearly financial statements of the Mutual Fund to be sent to investors

- Support the conduct of statutory audits, Internal Audits, Tax Audit and quarterly / annual audits by ensuring maintenance of all records and documentation as per audit requirements

- Preparation and submission of various tax compliances - TDS, GST, FACTA Compliance, Annual Information Returns to Income Tax Department and GST department

- Preparation and submission of various reports to CBLO, FIMMDA,CBRICKS as applicable

- Assist and coordinate in bi annual IT systems audits as required by SEBI

- Support the conduct of SEBI audits when applicable

- To involve in implementation of AIF funds, preparing of business plan, appointing various external agencies (Fund Accountant, Custodian, R&TA), assisting CFO for execution of distribution arrangement with International distributors
