Objective:
- To manage Treasury, Taxation, Regulatory Compliances, Financial Accounting, Statutory & Management Reporting functions to ensure highest levels of credibility and strong working relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
- Play a leading role in establishing and maintaining the Governance framework of the Company and the Group.
Responsibilities:
- 5 Year Business plan and Financial Planning Processes
- Prepare and Update Business plan (BP) model includes P&L, Balance sheet and cashflow
- Liaise with business teams in sourcing inputs to prepare the BP
- Consolidate and prepare consolidated P&L, Balance sheet and quarterly margins.
- Prepare BP in statutory form along with key ratios and its variances
- Rolling monthly forecast upto year end (with actuals and forecast for rest of the year)
- Prepare and analyse Revenue and its variances; Key ratios and its variances
Management Reporting:
- Direct the preparation of monthly Management Reports, comparing actual performance of the Group against detailed budgets and financial plans on a composite and unitary basis for approval and distribution to the Board, Senior Management and departments throughout Tabreed
- Review and compare results with approved budget levels and analyse deviations, including both routine and adhoc analysis as required to understand the variances identified
- Prepare investee management reports as required
Financial Accounting:
- Direct the preparation of Group Statutory Accounts on a monthly basis, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and International Financial Reporting Standards for the holding company in Singapore and in accordance with Indian GAAP for India incorporated entities
- Liaise with external auditors to ensure the completion of the audit/review in a timely manner and delivery of the Auditor presentation for the Board and principal shareholders
Lead and direct the processing of the following transactions controlled by the finance function to ensure accurate and timely completion:
- Utility invoices & payments
- Supplier invoices & payments
- Projects invoices & payments
- Customer invoices & receipts
- Petty cash returns and reimbursement
- Employee loans, advances & expenses
- Employee payrolls (All Asia/India group companies)
Treasury and Banking:
- Manage working relationships with banks for Overdraft, guarantee, foreign exchange and other facilities at the most competitive rates for the Group's cost benefit
- Detailed, long term cash forecasting to manage short and medium term financial risks
- Establish systems and controls for receipt and disbursements of funds and forecasting short and mid term requirements to ensure disbursements in line with policies and procedures
Taxation & Regulatory Compliances:
- Develop and monitor internal controls and set in place processes to manage all direct, indirect tax and regulatory compliances for the company and its subsidiaries activities in India
- Manage periodic tax compliances and reporting including tax audit processes for each year
Audit Queries:
- Supporting external audit during quarterly, interim and annual audit
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Post graduate professional qualifications in accounting or finance such as - Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent is a must
Work Experience: 8 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role primarily in the Finance function in a large or complex organization
