Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the overall accounting function of the organization, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.

- Leading team members, providing guidance and support to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls while ensuring compliance with GST and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) requirements.

- Stay updated with changes in India's Accounting Standards (AS), Goods and Services

- Tax(GST), and Income Tax regulations, ensure adherence to applicable regulations and guidelines.

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide management with accurate and timely financial information.

- Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, working closely with external auditors to ensure compliance and timely completion.

- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to optimize financial resources and manage financial risks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and executive leadership, to drive business performance and achieve strategic objectives.

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making, considering the impact of Indian IT and GST laws.

- Responsible for generating various Management Information System (MIS) reports,including analysis, for presentation to the management.

- Stay updated with emerging accounting trends and technologies to drive process improvements and enhance efficiency.

Desired skills and experience:

- MBA degree in Finance, or a related field.

- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a focus on Indian IT and GST laws

- Experience in leading team members.

- Previous experience working in a Zoho Books/Tally environment is desirable.

- In-depth knowledge of Indian IT and GST laws and their application to accounting processes and financial reporting

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships at all levels of the organization.

- Strategic mindset and ability to provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.

- High level of integrity and ethical conduct in handling financial information.
