Manager Finance & Accounts (Manufacturing)

- Responsible for daily bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivables, payroll, assistance with end-of-month close, grant reporting, audit preparation, and other related duties as assigned. The associate will work closely with and report to the accounting and finance director.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the Annual Operating Plan exercise and develop AOP construct along with Management, functional heads.

- Anchor the monthly Operations Review meeting for review of unit performance plant, sales, logistics etc.

- Drive Productivity Improvement Agenda in the Unit and monitor tracking of initiatives.

- Analyse revenue / cost lines and working capital for decision support to Management on pricing, trade and Distributor margins and ROI, cost management, GTM, logistics etc

- Completion of Statutory and Internal Audits as per timeline and ensure compliance with audit recommendations.

- Preparation of Financial Reports / analysis for Management Review.

- Ensure proper systems in place for accounting and reconciliation with business partners distributors accounting, claims management, reconciliations with, CFA, transporters, A&M vendors etc.

- Lead efficient management of working capital and cash flow.

- Implement Company risk management initiatives and Best Practices for all aspects of business spends / purchases across manufacturing and sales operations.

- Commercial / Purchase, Working capital optimization.

- Optimization of inventory carrying cost, enhancing purchase efficiency, and ensuring ready availability of raw material through active coordination with Purchase Coordinator.

- Ensure leveraging of supply chain systems for smooth operation including best utilization of own fleet.

- Implement Best Practice tools which improve the accuracy, timeliness and cost effectiveness of financial transaction processing and reporting.

Qualification And Experience:

1. MBA Finance or CWA or CA (Inter) with Minimum of 15 Years of Experience in a Manufacturing Industry. Age Not more than 40.

2. Self-starter - ability to work independently without supervision.

3. Demonstrated ability to show initiative, solve problems, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and remain calm under pressure.

4. Demonstrated ability to simultaneously see the big picture (system level) and understand the nuances of the details to make informed decisions/recommendations.

5. Meticulous attention to detail, as well as outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

6. Proven ability to prioritize and to initiate follow-through.

7. Independently motivated, but also able to work closely and collaboratively as a member of a highly interdependent team.

8. Ability to make sound decisions and provide leadership.

9. Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills required.

10. Experience in accounting software system design and implementation is preferred.

11. Strong customer service orientation and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management with varying degrees of financial knowledge.

12. Strong analytical skills and an attention to detail.
