Manager - Finance & Accounts - FMCG

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

General & SAP Activities:

- Overseeing of all finance, accounting & operational activities of the plant in Egypt.

MIS :

1. Circulation of Sales & variance analysis, Brand wise Profitability MIS.

2. Prepare Material Price variance report and material Wastage reports, Gross Contribution Variance analysis, Sales

volume and value variances, variable overhead variance analysis, Product mix variances.

3. Do product costing to track cost increase / decrease of existing products as well as to decide pricing and margin of new products.

- Inventory optimization - Review of inventory ageing, slow moving, quality stocks etc., and ensuring accurate provisioning. Proactive intimation to planning and production teams on liquidation of slow moving inventories etc.,

- Monthly inventory closing - Standard cost, actual cost run, review of open and completed process orders.

- Over heads - Calculation of overheads on a quarterly basis and uploading the same in SAP and review of monthly movement of overheads on consumption and closing stock.

- Month end provisions

- Allocate variances on brands using absorption costing

- Prepare Balance sheet & P&L from SAP and prepare cash flow statement

- Assist in tax matters like tax declaration, tax audit, tax inspection

- Anchor & coordinate Statutory Audit, Internal Audits and Corporate Audits

- Follow up on Internal Audit issues and ensure compliance

- Initiate New SAP activities for process improvisation.

Budgeting : Factory overheads budgets

Capex Process related activities:

- Fix asset capitalisation in SAP

- Controlling Capex approvals

- Capex commitment report

- Capex Utilisation Reports

- Fund Utilisation report
