Manager - Finance & Accounts

We are seeking an experienced Finance and Accounts Manager to lead our financial consolidation and reporting processes.

The ideal candidate will leverage extensive knowledge of accounting systems and regulatory compliance to drive improvements in cost-saving, profitability, and productivity.

This role involves financial management, accounting and compliance, process improvement, fund management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

Lead financial consolidation and reporting, including actuals, budgets, and forecasts.

Prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Generate MIS and reports for strategic decision-making to support senior management.

Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.

Accounting & Compliance:

Utilize and migrate accounting systems (e., Tally to SAP) for enhanced efficiency.

Supervise Indian tax compliance, including Income Tax, GST, and Withholding Taxes.

Support internal and external audits and conduct internal audits when necessary.

Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies.

Process Improvement:

Enhance financial processes to reduce risk and improve productivity.

Implement ERP systems and automate manual processes such as payroll and cheque preparation.

Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and best practices.

Continuously evaluate and improve financial policies and procedures.

Fund Management:

Manage treasury functions, including funding, credit control, and cash flow monitoring.

Establish and maintain relationships with bankers and negotiate fund raising.

Optimize cash flow and ensure efficient utilization of financial resources.

Develop and implement strategies for effective fund management.

Team Leadership:

Hire, train, and manage finance and accounting staff.

Delegate tasks, provide training, and monitor team performance.

Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

Encourage professional development and continuous learning among team members.

Qualifications:

MBA or Postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Professional certification (e., CA, CPA) is preferred.

Proven experience in financial management and accounting roles.

Strong knowledge of accounting systems and ERP implementation.

Excellent understanding of Indian tax laws and compliance requirements.

Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to drive process improvements and manage change effectively.

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Key Skills:

Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e., SAP, Tally).
