Basic Function :   The Manager - Finance & Accounts position is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.   Principal accountabilities are :  Planning & Budgeting :   - Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives  - Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans  - Develop financial and tax strategies  - Manage the capital request and budgeting processes  - Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction  Operations Management :   - Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team  - Manage the accounting, human resources, investor relations, legal, tax, and treasury departments  - Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies, if any  - Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced  - Oversee the company's transaction processing systems  - Oversee employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package  - Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions  Financial MIS & Analysis :   - Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company  - Review the performance of competitors and report on key issues to management  - Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement  - Interpret the company's financial results to management and recommend improvement activities  - Assist in the determination of product pricing in relation to features offered and competitor pricing  - Compile key business metrics and report on them to management  - Manage the capital budgeting process, based on constraint analysis and discounted cash flow analysis  - Create additional analyses and reports as requested by management  Risk Management :   - Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile  - Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry  - Construct and monitor reliable control systems  - Maintain appropriate insurance coverage  - Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements  - Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies  - Report risk issues to the audit committee of the Management  - Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations  Funding :   - Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment  - Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements  - Use hedging to mitigate financial risks related to the interest rates on the company's borrowings.  - Maintain banking relationships  - Assist in determining the company's proper capital structure  - Arrange for equity and debt financing  - Invest funds  Required Behavioural Traits :   - Excellent communication.  - Strong research, analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills.  - Ability to work under pressure.  - Excellent excel Skills  - Good in people management  - Self-Driven  - Good Analytical skills  - Presentable & Energetic  - Understands responsibility and take total ownership  Salary offered: 7 - 10 LPA
