Manager - Finance & Accounting - Plant

The position would be responsible for leading Finance & Accounting for a large Plant based out of Chennai. The position reports into the India Operations Finance Lead. The Plant finance team of 3 to 4 team members would be reporting into the position.

Principal Accountabilities:

- Oversee financial accounting and reporting activities for the Plant including Budgeting, Costing, MIS, Taxation, finalization of accounts, financial analysis, and audits

- Monthly MIS involving P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements

- Provide stewardship on operating cost performance, cost planning & forecasting

- To support and drive value engineering and cost optimization activities

- Reporting and insights to leadership team for key operational decisions

- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements

- Ensuring compliance with taxation and other regulatory / statutory requirements.

- Drive Controllership and ensure appropriate internal controls
