Manager F&A


Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Budgeting: Develop and manage the factory's budget, aligning it with the overall business plan of the startup.

- Forecasting: Prepare financial forecasts and variance analysis to ensure the factory's financial performance is on track.

- Cost Management: Monitor and control manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overheads.

2. Accounting & Compliance:

- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with statutory requirements.

- Tax Compliance: Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other applicable taxes, and manage compliance with tax laws and regulations.

3. Inventory & Cost Control:

- Inventory Accounting: Maintain accurate inventory records and manage costing methodologies to ensure correct valuation.

- Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities for cost savings in production processes and implement strategies to optimize expenses.

4. Cash Flow Management:

- Working Capital Management: Monitor working capital needs, including managing payables and receivables to ensure adequate liquidity.

- Cash Flow Forecasting: Prepare and manage cash flow forecasts to ensure the factory can meet its financial obligations.

5. Financial Strategy & Decision Support:

- Financial Strategy: Assist in developing the financial strategy for the factory, aligning with the company's growth objectives.

- Investment Analysis: Evaluate capital expenditure proposals and provide financial analysis to support decision-making.

6. Internal Controls & Audits:

- Internal Controls: Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.

- Audit Coordination: Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure that all audit requirements are met.

7. Collaboration with Other Departments:

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, procurement, and HR teams to align financial goals with operational objectives.

8. Reporting to Leadership:

- Management Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to the senior management team, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial risks.

- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and provide insights into the financial health of the factory.

9. Risk Management:

- Financial Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, including currency risk, credit risk, and operational risk.

- Insurance Management: Manage factory insurance policies, ensuring adequate coverage for all factory assets.

10. Technology & Systems Management:

- ERP System Management: Oversee the implementation and management of financial systems (e.g., ERP) to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

- Automation & Digitalization: Identify opportunities for automation and digitalization of financial processes to enhance accuracy and reduce manual effort.
