Manager - Finance

- Handle accounting, financial and commercial activities for India center, focusing mainly on imports/re-exports of gaming hardware, procurements, compliances including related to STPI/SEZ/Custom, MIS, Budgeting, Monthly closing plus various other commercials activities within finance/accounts domain.

- Clearance of import shipments from customs within time including obtaining necessary permissions from STPI/SEZ/Customs.

- Coordinate with facility/gaming hardware team to identify and re- export gaming hardware after end of useful life.

- Complete necessary formalities for re-export of gaming hardware including permission from STPI/SEZ/Customs.

- Ensure commercial effective solutions to complete necessary Import/Ex-export formalities

- Coordinate with TMF team (Accounts and compliance outsource partner) for inter-unit transfer of gaming hardware and other materials including delivery challans/E Way bill

Procurement and Vendor management

- Ensure all procurements are done in line with purchase policy, within budget and approved as per global financial authority matrix

- Review quotes received from commercial/compliance perspective and work across teams to ensure cost effective solutions

- Ensure vendor compliances (GST, Labour laws etc) for emplaned vendors and ensure payments are made in time as per agreements/POs

- Necessary renewal of all risks insurance policy and timely addition of new assets in policy

- Maintain existing procurement system and assist in upgradation to new system as chosen by leadership

Banking / Treasury :

- Act as Program Administrator to CitiBank Corporate Credit card program

- Coordination with bank for foreign remittances, EFTs, BRCs/FIRCs, Forex sale

- Assist in on-cycle / off-cycle payroll processing and handle employees query related to business expense reimbursements

- Handle Concur Expense support and coordinate with SAP Concur team as needed

- Petty cash process management

Compliances and Audits :

- Maintenance of adequate B-17 Bond balance with customs and maintain proper records, monitor capital goods import limit and furnishing necessary Bonds/documents to Custom/STPI for import

- Filing of necessary returns with STPI/SEZ (MPR, APR), maintenance of all necessary registrations (Green card, LOP, LUT etc) and registration of new units with STPI/SEZ/Custom/GST

- Assist in Internal Audit, Statutory Audit and Corporate Audit and share necessary details and respond to queries

- Fixed assets controls and verifications

- Assist in compliance with RBI/FEMA rules MIS, Budgeting and Monthly closing

- Assist in monthly closing process including review of monthly cost accruals and prepaid expenses, review monthly Balance sheet schedules

- Review MIS shared with business teams

- Assist in budget preparation

Key Relationships :

- Accounts and compliance outsource partner (TMF)

- Cross functional teams (Facilities, P&C, IT, Gaming Hardware etc)

- Corporate office for gaming hardware import/re-export

Qualification and desired skillset :

- CA / CWA / MBA (Finance) / CA (Intermediate)

- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role preferably in a gaming or IT/ITES company.

- Working knowledge of compliances related to units operating in STPI/SEZ/DTA zones

- Working knowledge and understanding of an ERP system (preferably Microsoft Dynamics D365), Concur Expense & Invoice, TM1, Anaplan, Excel, MS office

- Good communication skills (written/verbal) with ability to communicate in a precise and clear manner to all stakeholders

- Strong stakeholder engagement skills to engage with various other teams and work on desired outcome.
