The job description of a Finance Manager of AIF Category-II at Mumbai with flexibility to travel to

Ahmedabad and would typically include the following responsibilities:

- Financial Planning and Analysis: He/She would be responsible for implementing financial plans.

- This involves analyzing financial data, identifying KPIs and providing insights to support decision-making processes.

- Financial Reporting: He/She would oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. The Manager would ensure regular updates to Management through MIS and Dashboards including compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, as well as internal policies and procedures.

- Fund Accounting and Valuation: Managing the fund accounting process, the Finance Manager would ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, including investments, expenses, and income distributions. They would also collaborate with external service providers for the valuation of fund assets.

- Investor & Distributors Relations: The Finance Manager would ensure Investors on-boarding, draw-downs, income distributions and interact with investors, addressing their queries and providing regular updates on fund performance. He/She would ensure all Investors reporting on timely basis and also participate in investor meetings, calls and presentations to attract and retain investors. Frequent interactions with Distributors to ensure the Client Satisfaction is important for this role.

- Team Management: The Finance Manager would lead a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation.

- Relationship Management: Collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as Investment Team, as well as external service providers, such as Regulators, Auditors, Valuers, Lawyers, Tax Advisors and Custodians is crucial for smooth fund operations. The Finance Manager would establish and maintain effective relationships with these parties.
