Job Description:
Promotional Operations Manager
- Design, build and maintain tools for promotional operations including incentive compensation, field team size, structure, alignments, segmentation and targeting.
- Develop and promote best practices; identify and share relevant strategies and business rules that can be applied across multiple business units / products and therapeutic area
- Identify opportunities to streamline best practices, improve quality and productivity through automation. Implement enabling technologies and tools to automate and streamline methodology
- Optimize incentive compensation models for plan health checks, baseline evaluation, goal allocation, financial modeling and fairness testing. For incentive compensation administration, develop better processes for eligibility, roster management, sales crediting, MBO collection, payout computation and delivery of statements
- Optimize size and structure models, mROI calculations and load balancing of territories which contribute to field team planning and deployment
- Interface with client leads and internal teams on data operations to ensure appropriate data procurement, integration, and governance for promotional operations projects
- Produce client ready materials independently, clearly present findings and implement communication best practices.
- Assist senior staff in providing best in class support to clients across projects and maintain communication to ensure that internal and external timelines are met.
- Support strategic and operational initiatives as assigned and be willing to work closely with other functions at including strategic advisory, market research, statistics, data solutions, etc.
Position Requirements:
Education: BS, MS or MBA in scientific, quantitative, business, or other relevant fields
Work Experience: 4 - 6 years of work experience in field force planning, incentive compensation and forecasting, analytics or related area. Experience/familiarity with life sciences data and forecasting is preferred.
Experience in the field operations space is a must - specifically including sales force sizing/structure/alignment, targeting optimization, incentive compensation design and administration. Marketing mix modeling is a plus along with life sciences sales / marketing data, business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, QlikView) for analytics and reporting purposes.
