Job Title: Manager Facility Planning and Design

Function: Planning and Engineering

Reporting to: Head Operations Planning, Automation and Efficiency

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 6 8 Years

Qualification: He/ She should be an Engineer and an MBA in Industrial Engineering/Operations or Supply chain management from good, reputed institutes such as IIT and NIT.

Please note - The candidates must have experience in Facility and process design in courier/cargo and transportation companies (not in warehousing).

Purpose:

- Responsible for planning of operational facilities and design on the basis of volume forecast and historical trends to ensure that adequate space is always available at facilities.

- Ensure that facilities are designed to meet operational KPIs such as OTD, EDD by studying vehicle arrival and departure schedules, minimize man/material movement, reduce handling cost and prevent damages/accidents.

- Ensure that our workplaces are safe and promote the health and wellbeing of our employees.
