Manager - Fabric Sourcing

Position – Fabric Sourcing (Manager)

Educational Qualification

Fabric Textile Engineer (must)

MBA or Equivalent (preferably)

Experience –

- Should have been in the Fabric trade for 8+ years

- Should have been trading on Fabrics for the last 3 to 5 years; or Should have worked in the Capacity of Fabric Manager with Domestic Retail Brands, sourcing fresh as well as STOCK Fabrics for them.

- Should possess technical knowledge of both - Woven & Knit Fabrics; with respect to weaving, knitting, dyeing, printing, processing, etc; and should preferably have experience in Woven : Knits Fabrics in the ratio of 65% to 35% respectively.

- Should be well versed with the Indian Market for LOT BUYING of Fabrics (Primary Focus)

- Should have worked with various fabric mills closely & directly; and should have the expertise & knowledge as to which fabrics can be sourced from which locations of India, at the cheapest fabric prices. Must be well versed on the costing of fabrics.

- Should have worked with number of Garment Manufacturers (both exporters and domestic suppliers) and Fabric Mills, to source left over fabric from them directly, at Stock Prices.

Other attributes

- Should be good at communication

- Must be willing to travel across India as demanded by the job

- Should be willing to relocate to Gurgaon (if the candidate is from out station)

- 7.5 Lakhs PA
