Job Description :
- Supporting Group External Reporting team in preparation & review of IFRS/Global Business Reporting schedules for Interim & Annual Report & Accounts.
- The person will be involved in the preparation & review of Consolidation activities including consolidation journals, analytical reviews, consolidation checks, submission management, management reporting (BPR, CCS,etc), change management, database amendments, etc.
- Interpret IFRS rules and apply in preparation of GRCA reporting schedules and related disclosures. The process require sound understanding of IFRS provisions.
- Professional will also be required to take the lead/participate in Global/GFC projects, and work on high end systems and various accounting software applications, to deliver reporting and reconciliations.
The roles envisages :
Impact on the Business :
- Delivery of allocated deliverables on monthly/quarterly basis
- Understand business requirements and interpret data to provide meaningful analysis reports for onshore/offshore senior managers review
- Coordinate, work-closely with country/site finance teams across the globe to understand key drivers for results
- Respond to queries from offshore & onshore managers, and auditors
- Perform & Review Saracen Change management requests
- Perform & Review ARA schedules, BPR, CCS & Other management reporting deliverables
- Perform & review financial/consolidation checks to ensure the accuracy, completeness and validity of financial/non-financial data & commentaries
- Instruct sites for Data Amendments to correct financial/non-financial data
- Ensure control process are in place to maintain data integrity
- Support and ensure timely and accurate delivery of Interim & Annual reports and accounts schedules in line with onshore requirements
- Support and ensure timely and accurate delivery of all SOX related compliance, ensure compliance of Group/GFC policies & procedures
Customers / Stakeholders :
- Support and ensure all information sent to customers meet agreed accuracy, quality and time standards set for the process
- Support and ensure all queries are handled and closed to the satisfaction of customers/stakeholders
Skills/Experience Required :
Required : CA/CWA/CPA//MBA (Finance) with minimum post qualification experience of 6 years or more in Finance and Accounting and Financial Reporting.
- Ability to understand numbers and their impact, drive and achieve accuracies across reporting deliveries.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word) etc.
- Excellent Communication skills - Both verbal and written
- Good analytical skills, an eye for detail and a drive for quality, statistical skills to study trends, understand and to interpret
Numeric information :
- Knowledge of, and experience in planning and organizing techniques as well as in problem solving techniques
- Self-driven
- Flexibility to work in accordance with Business requirements
- Ability to review the work of other team members as assigned, build rapport with and relate to a wide range of people
- Should be open to shifts and willing to work overtime as per the process requirements.
