Manager - Expenses & Consolidation - CA

The role will responsible for UK Expenses Allocation function in India, to ensure that the financial information, analysis and reporting is complete and accurate. This role will also require interaction and dialogue with relevant onshore UK counterparts, and the ability to quickly and accurately supply the demands for information.

Key accountabilities:

- Responsible for supporting overall Expense allocation and Consolidation function

- Works with the UK onshore team on Transfer Pricing to ensure it is effectively calculated.

- Responsibility for accurate and timely completion of expenses and consolidations accounting. Also, assist with the year-end audit process.

- Maintain a high level of risk awareness and develop a sound control environment to enable risk mitigation.

- Monitor revenue and expenses to ensure compliance with budget by performing monthly variance analysis

- Deal with Ad-Hoc queries from the wider finance community.

- Assist with various upcoming projects.

Skills and experience

- Qualified Accountant with 5-7 years post qualification experience. Experience of working in an extended (offshore-onshore) global team model would be preferred

- Sound financial concepts, knowledge of accounting principles

- Detailed understanding of the consolidation process and understanding of the key profitability, revenue and cost drivers.

- Strong Microsoft Excel alongside good IT skills particularly Outlook, Word & PowerPoint

- Strong verbal and written business English communication skills, experience in presenting to senior management and writing reports beneficial

- Commitment to overseas travel

- Prior team management experience would be preferred
