Manager - Events Management

Job Description:

- Position reports to Head - Brand Strategy

- Manage the production and execution of events, including managing venue searches; budgeting; defining and driving timelines and holding teammates accountable to them; collaborating with internal customers; food and beverage selection; negotiating, coordinating, and working with outside vendors; and measuring the impact of an event towards achieving its desired objective

- Initiate and cultivate strong relationships with members of the company's development team and external vendors, including the ability to manage internal and external team members contributing to the success of events

- Develop an understanding of industry best practices and execute strategies to continuously improve our events flagship events & conferences; sponsorships; partnerships; memberships; speaking opportunities; road shows; meet ups and webinars;

- Ensure opportunities and benefits are delivered, effectively leveraged and executed flawlessly.

Additional Information:

Personal Skills:

- Direct experience in planning and executing both small and large-scale events and conferences

- Ability to communicate effectively with internal user groups, external business partners and team members in a multi-stakeholder and global operating environment.

- Ability to coordinate simultaneous projects and have good communication with stakeholders in each project

- Strong customer focus and desire to collaborate with other designers and internal stakeholders

- Excellent organizational and communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to quickly adapt to change

- Native level English speaking & writing skills.
