ABOUT THE ROLE

WeAce is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to handle our online and offline events and engage our online subscribers and platform users. The Manager, Events & Engagement will be responsible for user acquisition, curating events, implementing social media and email marketing strategies, driving thought leadership conferences, improving user engagement, nurturing external ambassadors, and strategizing on improving visibility for WeAce globally. This role requires excellent communication skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of community management and marketing strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

User Acquisition:

- Develop and execute strategies to attract and onboard new users to the WeAce platform.

- Implement user acquisition campaigns across various channels, including social media, online advertising, and partnerships.

- Analyze user acquisition metrics and optimize strategies for maximum effectiveness.

Event Curation:

- Curate and organize monthly online and offline events catering to different interest-based communities and trending topics.

- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure event success and attendee satisfaction.

- Plan and execute social media, email, and WhatsApp marketing campaigns to promote events and drive registrations.

Thought Leadership Conferences:

- Drive the curation of thought leadership conferences aligned with WeAce's industry focus.

- Develop strategies to engage the community, campuses, business schools, and other organizations to drive event registrations.

User Engagement and Micro Communities:

- Strategize and implement initiatives to enhance user engagement on the WeAce platform.

- Foster deep engagement within micro communities by facilitating discussions, providing valuable content, and encouraging user participation.

- Monitor community engagement metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.

External Ambassadors:

- Identify and engage a cohort of external ambassadors to promote WeAce and increase brand visibility.

- Provide support, resources, and incentives to ambassadors to facilitate their advocacy efforts.

- Maintain regular communication with ambassadors and foster a strong community of brand advocates.

Global Visibility and Community Growth:

- Strategize on improving WeAce's visibility outside of India by identifying target markets and implementing marketing initiatives.

- Identify relevant communities and cultivate partnerships to expand the number of communities on the platform.

- Stay informed about global trends and cultural nuances to tailor community engagement strategies accordingly.

Branding Solutions for Customers:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their branding needs and objectives.

- Develop customized branding solutions to help clients engage relevant internal and external audiences.

- Implement branding campaigns that align with client goals and target the desired audience segments.

- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of branding solutions and provide regular reports and insights to clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

- 3-6 years of proven experience in event management, community management and user engagement

- Strong understanding of social media platforms, email marketing, and online event promotions.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and make data-backed decisions.

- Proficient in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.

- Experience in organizing large format events and industry conferences is a plus.

- Familiarity with global markets and cultural sensitivities.

- Passion for building online communities and fostering user engagement.

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
