Profile Summary:

- Responsible for establishing communication and knowledge building strategy/program to drive enhanced understanding of key policies including Code of Conduct, regulatory excellence and Compliance initiatives and implementing a comprehensive ethics management program for the business.

- Managing employee grievance redressal mechanism including concerns flowing external and internal channels.

- Responsible for conducting Compliance Risk Assessment for the business, creating an Assurance framework, implementing annual independent testing to evaluate adherence to regulations that govern the business and provide an assurance to the management on the same.

- Responsible for Compliance investigations on cases flowing through external and internal channels.

- Based on the nature of each concern/red flags reported, work and recommend an investigative plan/strategy. Develop and oversee a system for uniform handling of such violations.

- Ensure Compliance with escalation guidelines and timely, consistent, compliant and quality case management.

- Ensure remediations plans are consistent as per policy with reporting to senior management/Board/Committee.

- Present concern trends, improvement opportunities and key focus areas to senior management to provide them with appropriate indicators of Compliance health, communication, engagement and training.

- Provide advice and guidance on developing a strong compliant business environment and support leader's drive to reinforce the culture of Compliance and integrity.

- Develop policies and programs that encourage the team and employees to report concerns without fear of retaliation.

- Create case studies for communication for employee awareness and building a strong Compliance culture.

Knowledge Management:

- Strategize, plan, prepare, develop customized modules on topics related to Compliance including Code of Conduct and key regulations for all employees' organization wide.

- Establish communication and knowledge building strategy/program to drive enhanced understanding of key policies, Compliance initiatives, policies and procedures in the business.

Governance & Ethics:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive ethics management program covering key risk areas.

- Provide internal review of company policies to ensure consistency and integration with company's ethics philosophy.

- Oversee the development and implementation of corporate ethics knowledge management framework.

- Integrate the company's ethics philosophy within the company culture through pan-India awareness programs and initiatives.

Compliance:

- Responsible for conducting Compliance Risk Assessment (CRA) for the business and presenting results to senior management and Committees.

- Develop the Annual Compliance Plan that reflects key business risks that will be monitored by the Compliance function as determined by the Annual Compliance Risk Assessment for the organization.

- Develop the Annual Assurance Plan that reflects key business risks that will be tested by the Compliance function as determined by CRA.

- Develop the Annual Training Plan that reflects key business risk areas basis the CRA and functions identified where training is to be imparted.

- Accordingly, develop the Annual Compliance Communication plan and ensure delivery and execution as per the Plan.

- Drive Standardization and leverage best practices: Coordinate with relevant business owners to define gaps/identify and resolve Compliance related process/procedural issues. Support functions in driving requisite improvements/resolutions for issues identified.

- Identify key data points basis CRA to create and deploy assurance framework plans in conjunction with key stakeholders, implement appropriate procedures that supplement Compliance testing for the business.

- Establish standards and implementing procedures to ensure that Compliance assurance program throughout the organization is effective and efficient in identifying, preventing, detecting and remediating non- Compliance with applicable rules and regulations.

- Review, challenge and improve the controls environment by conducting annual independent testing to evaluate the effectiveness of Company's policies and procedures.

- Review testing methodologies used, provide clear guidance on best practices/minimum standards expected to ensure consistent application across functions.

- Recommend remediation/advice on gap areas/areas of improvement.

- Establish, implement and present remediation action plans to the senior leadership.

- Share leading practices and test management techniques to enhance testing effectiveness and efficiency.
