Job Designation: Manager - ESHA
Job Summary :
Responsible for managing ESHA performance for the region IMEA (India, Middle east and Africa) for the BU Masterbatch. Also operationally, responsible for the same in India
A Chemical Engineer with sound knowledge of Production management & know how of the EHS regulations. He will be responsible for 10 Sites. He should be well versed with the shopfloor activities.

Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the implementation of ESHA Guidelines across all the BUMB sites in IMEA,
- Manage performance, training, audit and Company's corporate standards
- Conduct audits and assessments for isolating ESHA related gaps and coordinating the closure of all such gaps
- Conduct PRA (Process Risk Analyses) for new plants or during commissioning of new machinary
- Ensure compliance to ISO / Safety standards
- Train people on ESHA and QMS (Quality Management System)
- Provide relevant ESHA information to BU and support them for their various marketing / technical projects.
- Address various ESHA related issues / requirements at various forums / meetings.
- Monitor and systematically eliminate the use of materials and processes that may not be compliant with in regulated markets (e.g. use of Heavy Metal Pigments)
Skills/Expertise:
- Minimum 10 years experience in ESHA, Systems Management, Production & Technical services function, preferably in Chemical or Pharma industry.
- Knowledge and understanding of standards and regulations related to occupational health & safety, food and drugs will be preferred
- Experience with pharma or polymer processing company preferred
- ESHA knowledge with Zero Accident philosophy
- Quality Management Systems knowledge (e.g. ISO 14001) and industry best practices with respect to ESHA
- Change management skills, Communication skills and Analytical skills
Master degree or Bachelors degree in Engineering
- Production / Mechanical / Polymer / Chemicals Engineering
