Position Title: Manager (Equity Research)

Job Band - Manager

Compensation Band - Equivalent to Scale II in PSU Bank

Location - Veer Nariman Road, Churchgate, Mumbai

Reporting to: Head, Research

Roles and Responsibilities -

- Write / initiate quantitative and qualitative research and present analytical reports of macro, sector, Company, Corporate Actions and Market News to predict performance of existing EQUITY portfolio and enable managers to "take positions" on investments for providing better-than-competition returns to LIC PFL's Clients

- Perform quantitative and qualitative research and present analytical reports of macro, sector, Company, Corporate Actions and Market News to predict performance of promising new EQUITY investment; persuade expansion of equity portfolio

- Identify equity investment opportunities aimed to improve net worth of portfolio

- In addition, role holder shall take up responsibilities as directed by MD & CEO or the Head, Research

Scope of Work -

- Asset class - equity

- Research-based advise on equity-investments in Companies from eligible investment universe as defined and directed by PFRDA from time-to-time

- Explore investment in Companies outside of PFRDA directed universe

- Not domain-specific; scope covers all sectors

- Fundamental (not opportunistic or commercial) Research covering Macro, minimum 3 major Sectors and Company
