One of the French Multinational Companies is looking to hire projects and infrastructure lawyer with 4-6 years of experience.
Job Description:
- The primary activity will be the drafting and negotiation of a wide range of contracts related to distributed generation projects (PPAs, EPCs, O&Ms, guarantees, letters of intent, MoUs, partnership agreements, shareholders agreements, land agreements, share purchase agreements, finance agreements, etc;)
- The individual will also work on M&A projects and utility scale projects in the Region; - Working closely with the business development team to turn opportunities into operating projects.
- Anticipate the risks and legal needs of operations; monitor, alert, advise and propose appropriate solutions
- Instruction and relationship management with external counsel, Conduct legal studies and provide legal memorandum
- Assess regulatory and contractual risks, propose innovative solutions to mitigate such risks
- Analyze and interpret new regulations within the Region and contribute to appropriate monitoring and alerts
- Assist the legal team in general corporate and legal activities of the group
- Ensure implementation of group initiatives including adherence to group policies relating to HSE, ABC, sanctions, sustainability
- Supervision of the corporate housekeeping of the subsidiaries and JVs incorporated in the Region (shareholders/board of directors resolutions, delegations and PoAs, share transfers, shareholder loans, etc.); and Ensure compliance of business operations with relevant laws and regulations.
