Key Purpose of the Job:.
- The Risk Manager would be responsible for risk management activity for the entire company (including the overseas subsidiaries).
- The Risk Manager would liaise with the function/ BU risk coordinators to manage flow of information between them and the Risk Management Committee (RMC).
- The Risk Manager would be responsible to ensure that the Risk Management Committee meetings are held as required, to review the risks identified.
Educational Qualification/ Experience Required:.
- Relevant experience with Certification in Risk Management (CRM).
- Possess domain knowledge on Enterprise-wide Risk Management (ERM).
- Experience of around 5 to 6 years in Risk Management function in a listed company.
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills, verbal & written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:.
- Plan and participate in the implementation of effective risk identification processes, management and mitigation procedures.
- Establish formal process for identification of major business risks for the company and its subsidiaries - both internal and external.
- Co-ordinate with risk owners and conduct risk assessments and ensure controls are in place to mitigate identified risks.
- Ensure risks are mitigated / actioned upon and do not extend to other business functions / departments, as appropriate.
- Keep the Enterprise Risk Register updated with the relevant risks and the measures taken to mitigate the identified risks.
- Lead the evaluation of potential future risks to the company and its subsidiaries.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline risk management processes.
- Co-ordinate / enable data inputs to / during the Risk Management Committee updates.
