Senior Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our software development team as a Senior Engineering Manager. This role is pivotal in driving the success of our engineering efforts, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality software products with zero defects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for mentoring and guiding junior team members.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of software developers to deliver sprint goals on time and with zero defects.

- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching to junior team members, helping them develop their skills and grow professionally.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, project managers, and stakeholders, to prioritize tasks, plan sprints effectively, and align engineering efforts with business objectives.

- Drive the design, development, and implementation of software solutions using technologies such as .NET Core, Application Security, ASP.NET, JavaScript, Web Services, relational databases, SQL. Hands on experience with front-end development platforms like Flutter would be a big plus.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and development methodologies to maintain code quality, scalability, and performance.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute the engineering roadmap, incorporating new technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

- Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture, pub-sub systems, and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred. Tier 1 or Tier 2

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.

- Strong technical skills with expertise in .NET Core, Application Security, ASP.NET, Flutter, JavaScript, Web Services, relational databases, SQL, and front-end development platforms like Flutter.

- Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture, pub-sub systems, and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB.

- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products on time and within budget.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering excellence in every aspect of software development.

- Experience with Agile methodologies, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.
