Role Summery :

As an Engineering Manager for our Java-based lending Automation platform team, you will play a crucial role in leading and guiding a team of talented engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of robust automation & digital transformation software solutions to cater Financial Domain. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects, meeting both technical requirements and business objectives within the timeline.

Role & Responsibility:

- To provide technical guidance and oversight throughout the software development lifecycle, from architecture design to deployment.

- To ensure the Implementation of best Agile practices & iteration planning to keep up the team collaboration.

- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and timelines.

- Engage in Project planning, execution, and ensure effective Allocation of resources to meet project deadlines.

- Must have ability & proven track record to deliver the project within the timeline.

- Drive the implementation of best practices in software engineering, including coding standards, testing methodologies, and code reviews.

- Coordinate with other engineering teams to integrate Java-based solutions with existing systems and services.

- Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of the platform.

- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, advocating for the adoption of relevant tools and techniques.

- Lead and mentor a team of Software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in software development with a strong focus on Java technologies.

- Solid understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.

- Proven experience in Financial domain or LOS or LMS or payment is an added advantage.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA).

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
