Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Email Marketing Manager to lead our email marketing and lifecycle initiatives. This role is crucial for driving customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth through strategic and data-driven email campaigns. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building and scaling high-impact email programs, particularly within a B2B or high-growth environment. You will be a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for optimizing email performance.
Responsibilities:
Email Marketing Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Build and scale high-impact email programs from the ground up, focusing on lifecycle marketing and personalized customer journeys.
- Design and implement automated email campaigns, including onboarding, nurture, transactional, and promotional emails.
- Manage and optimize email segmentation strategies to target specific customer segments with relevant content.
- Conduct A/B testing to continuously improve email performance and conversion rates.
CRM & Lifecycle Management:
- Leverage CRM data to personalize email communications and enhance the customer experience.
- Develop and manage customer lifecycle strategies to maximize customer lifetime value.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to align email strategies with overall business objectives.
- Map out customer journeys, and create email flows that increase conversion throughout each step.
Email Automation & ESP Management:
- Utilize ESP tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Klaviyo, Braze, Customer.io) to automate email campaigns and manage email workflows.
- Configure and optimize email automation workflows to ensure seamless and efficient delivery.
- Manage and maintain email lists, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Define, track, and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) for email campaigns, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and revenue.
- Utilize analytics tools (Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau) to analyze email performance and generate actionable insights.
- Develop and present regular reports on email marketing performance to stakeholders.
- Use data to drive decisions and improve email performance.
Email Deliverability & Compliance:
- Ensure email deliverability best practices, including IP warming, sender reputation management, and list hygiene.
- Maintain compliance with email marketing regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA).
- Monitor and troubleshoot email deliverability issues.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to align email strategies with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with content marketing teams to develop compelling email content.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in email marketing, CRM, or lifecycle marketing, preferably in a B2B or high-growth environment.
- Proven track record of building and scaling high-impact email marketing programs from scratch.
- Deep expertise in email automation, segmentation, and A/B testing for performance-driven optimization.
- Strong knowledge of ESP tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Klaviyo, Braze, Customer.io).
- Proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau) and data-driven decision-making.
- Hands-on experience with email deliverability best practices, IP warming, and compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA).
- Ability to define, track, and optimize performance metrics (KPIs) for email campaigns.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to align strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HTML and CSS for email design.
