Manager - Econometric Predictive Modeling - Times Series & Arima

Location: Navi Mumbai

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced econometric and time series forecasting models.

- Develop and validate forecasting models to identify trends, seasonality, and cyclical patterns, with a strong focus on accuracy and predictive power.

- Work with geospatial data, including data extraction, processing, and model integration to address spatial dependencies, region-based analysis, and models for risk assessment (credit, macroeconomic scenario).

- Apply NLP techniques to extract insights from textual data, including text mining, sentiment analysis, and topic modelling.

- Perform hands-on data preparation, manipulation, and model training using Python and Excel-VBA, particularly for time series, panel, and multivariate data.

- Prepare and present findings, model outcomes, and actionable insights to stakeholders, explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Create web-based dashboards using open-source techniques.

- Implement data governance activities to regularly improve data, maintenance processes and workflows to deliverdata meeting quality standards.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience in econometric modeling, time series analysis, or data science roles with an emphasis on end-to-end project delivery.

- Master's or Ph.D. in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

- Expertise in advanced time series models (ARIMA, VAR, GARCH, etc.) and multivariate econometric methods.

- Strong experience with geospatial data processes and tools (e.g., GIS, shapefiles, spatial analysis).

- Proficient in Python, Java, Spark, SQL, & Excel VBA, and APIs

- Experience in new technologies and techniques, developing predictive solutions, statistical analysis, proficiency in NLP methods, including sentiment analysis, topic modeling, and text classification), image processing, web scraping.

- Comfortable working on big data (large & diverse): tabular, satellites sensor data, text, voice & images for processing & forecasting Publiic Publi

- Expertise in visualization and business intelligence tools including Power BI, & Tableau and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

- Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to apply analytical methods to business challenges.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.

- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
