Ecommerce Manager
- We are looking for a proactive E-commerce Manager that is able to define and lead the brand's overall E-Commerce strategy and execution.
- A Strong data driven E -Commerce leader to lead our Digital business across our own website and Luxury channel Partners .
- Your main responsibility will be driving all successful E-commerce activities, focusing on growing sales through improving the customer acquisition, conversion and retention rate.
- The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial approach, and enjoys working in a small and dynamic team.

Your main responsibilities include :
- Devising strategies that harness sales-related insights, prevailing standards, and novel developments to encourage sales on our online store.
- Developing Annual E-Commerce Sales & Marketing Strategies to support sales and P& l Strategy along with creating a strong brand image.
- Sales & Targets-Working closely with all the channels & doing various activities like marketing campaigns, targeting right product at right time as per the season, ensuring enough inventory for target achievement.
- Drive online sales growth through maximizing traffic, conversions and ROI via activations and promotions (Achieve Sales target & related commercial KPI ).
- Lead all website merchandising and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) to maximize online profitability and conversion.
- Oversee all aspects of online activity including web development, branding, marketing and online sales and promotions.
- Manage the integration of all aspects of local e-commerce operations, including logistics, customer service, stock and supply chain, IT, and local outsourced partners.
- Build new growth strategies with internal partners to drive traffic & customer growth on our E Boutique .
- Prior experience in strategizing and over looking Marketing automation experience using channels like Email, SMS, WhatsApp & so on.
- Ensure that all local requirements are met in terms of user experience, functionality, packaging, language, etc.
- Track digital activities and KPIs through monthly reporting.
- Partner with Logistics/Supply Chain management, manage stock situation and ensure replenishment rhythms. Ensure proper allocation from HQ, in particular for novelties.
- Continuously build upon the strong marketing plan for the e-commerce platform ranging from: site activities, advertising, traffic building, sales mix, etc.
- Oversee creative direction for web and email content, as well as promotional strategy and implementation.
- Analyzed site performance and initiated improvements, including merchandising efforts, technical projects, and creative changes.
- Stock planning & management - Monitoring and measuring sales trends hence, forecasting and mobilizing stocks across portals and sellers in close coordination with the team, to always have a smooth feeder mechanism.
- Position and present products in ways that exceed expectations such as conversion, average order value, customer service that add to the overall brand positioning.
- Prepare monthly cost centre & product wise P&L and engage business teams and Management to take appropriate action.
Supervision, Hiring and Training :
- The Ecommerce Manager will oversee the entire e-commerce division and divide up employees on tasks. They will also be responsible for interviewing, bringing their preferred candidates to upper management, and providing necessary training.
Financial Planning and Budgeting :
- Ecommerce Managers generally have a set budget from upper management for their division. The job of an ecommerce manager is to plan for e-marketing expenditures well in advance and develop a financial plan that will maximize their resources.
Technical Understanding :
- A strong grasp of modern technology and social media is essential to the job of an Ecommerce Manager. An expert understanding of spreadsheets, databases, financial analysis, website design, search engine optimization, and e-marketing strategy will be key to fulfilling the many functions of the job.
Business Development :
- Onboarding new marketplaces , Building partnerships with the affiliated to drive acquisition and growth , Assisting in negotiating contracts with the vendors.
- Full ownership of the online trading of Outhouse defining and delivering upon the sales objectives.
- Develop and oversee the Outhouse user and enhance customer experience to increase engagement and conversion rates.
- Develop & Manage the Outhouse CRM program, developing data driven strategies.
- Develop and oversee the execution of all online marketing programs and initiatives to drive sales and profits including paid search, SEO, email marketing, affiliate marketing, retargeting and online analytics.
- Lead all website development projects and continuously monitor the website's performance, highlighting issues and seeking opportunities for improvement.
- Closely collaborate with internal teams across Marketing Merchandising , CRM and Customer Service along with the sales and product teams to understand Brand products, promotions, and key selling dates to ensure the appropriate assortment is available online and at the right time to increase sales.
- Ensure a timely upload of new products, assets and content to the website, providing weekly merchandising and accurate preparation for new marketing campaigns.
- Work closely with the Creative Director and Marketing Team to ensure coherence of branding, design and content and directing the activities of software developers , copywriters , and graphic designers to ensure careful adherence of predetermined strategies .
- Provide weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting on customer and website performance, including relevant action plans.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the online store, building and maintaining a good understanding of the platform functionality and integrations.
- Oversee customer service and develop a clientele program, ensuring high quality care and responsiveness.
- Full responsibility of the E-commerce P&L & that of Chanel Partners.
- Provide expertise on the current e-commerce industry to identify new best practice and areas of e-commerce opportunities beyond current organizational thinking to further develop the business.
- Lead and implement client Omni-channel experience: click to store, click from store, etc.
- Drive Performance Marketing strategy and implementation with internal resources / media agency.
- Monitor competitor activity, identifying trading opportunities where a market can maximize on sales.
- Manage online visual merchandising, and optimize customer journey.
- Maximize all opportunities to drive online sales via SEO and UX requests.
- Weekly reporting on all activities to wider business, liaising with the BI team.
- Reviewing the security of checkout pages and payment procedures.
The Required Skill & Qualifications :
- Self-Driven Entrepreneur skills with Strategic and creative thinking abilities.
- Web Platform experience -Shopify store management and Majento.
- Scaled a fashion brand/s in India & globally as well .
- Extensive experience as an e - commerce manager by leading different teams.
- An analytical person with strong technical skills.
- Advanced Excel and Google Analytics skills.
- Business - Analytics, Hands on experience in Digital Marketing.
- 7-10 years of experience managing e-commerce platforms.
- 2 to 3 years of both direct and cross-functional people management experience.
- Exceptional knowledge of Performance Marketing, in particular SEA, programmatic, email, affiliates, paid social - this is a must.
Expert IT literacy :
- Google Analytics, AdWords, MS Office, Social Media tools, SEO , CRO etc.
- Ability to create strategies, make operational decisions and execute accordingly.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication, strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Master degree required.
- Ability to develop and manage sales accounts in third party e-commerce partnerships.
- Profound and all-rounded Digital Sales & Marketing knowledge.
- Knowledgeable of e-commerce trends, competitive landscape and digital customer experience.
- Connected in national agency / vendor landscape, experienced in working with media agencies.
- Reporting on the Utility of existing & novel strategies.
- Eye for detail.
