Job Description:
- To grow the distributor business profitably by expanding the geographical and industry presence
- Increase the brand awareness by developing operational excellence and Value Added capabilities in line with Distributor Growth Strategy
- Implement Distributor policies
- Develop Distributors with respect to Distributor organization, Distributor Team, Systems & Processes & Infrastructure and Service capability building
- Support efficient & effective business management through Marketing support, Reward program, Loyalty programs, value edge program
- Review mechanism and Audit-Review through value edge program, Business Audit to check brand protection, financial, legal & market activities
- Ensure smooth exit of Distributors
- Measure, analyze and report Distributor Performance
- Able to share insights of the analysis with relevant stakeholders and suggest plans for improvements
- Collaborate with sales teams for effective implementation of roadmap / programs / policies
- Gain knowledge of Industry Best Practices
- Organize Distributor Communication Meeting and events
- Evaluate competitor's channels of distribution and propose sales and marketing programs to compete in the market place
- Develop a strategy for the acquisition of new markets and accounts
- Negotiating and executing the contracts and growth plans with current and prospective channel partners
- Identify competitor activities and initiative actions to protect the business
- Governance - Onboarding of distributor, contract closures., Compliances as per the group guidelines and directives
- Boost sales leveraging distributors and logistics/location
- Develop talents including technical skill level of dealers / field engineers
- Review of DDs performance on regular basis monthly, quarterly, half yearly basis
- Workout clear road map enhancing share of business from AUs across PAN India DDs
- MBA from a Premier Institute would be preferred
- 12+ years in channel development/sales and with distributors
- Strong Practical knowledge of Distributor management & After Market strategies
- Business Acumen, Strong process orientation, stake holder management, influencing skills, strong in documentation
- Innovation/creativity, Diagnosis/problem-solving, Learning/self-development and Initiative
- Hands-on experience in technical marketing & sales
- Exposure in handling Automotive & Automation industries, Commercial Vehicles, process
- Industries, project sales, after-sales functions Good verbal and written communication in English
- Good customer networking and result orientation
- Good knowledge of latest marketing / promotion techniques
