Direct Trade Manager - Bangalore for FMCG
Job Description:
Key Accountabilities:
- Sales Objective and grow the market share
- Achieve Colgate's sales objectives for the retail environment by managing customer relationship with Key FSS Accounts.
- Coordination at Branch - Liaise with the central / branch logistics team so that client complies with FSS A/Cs' outstanding supply needs and other norms. Roll-out promotions to Direct and Indirect A/Cs thru warehouses & ensure achievement of outstanding Fill Rates
- Understand Shopper Behaviour - Use the insights into shopper behaviour towards brands, promotional offers and consumer-centric activities to conceptualize, design and implement promotional schemes and in-store merchandising activity in consultation with the Area Mgrs, consumer & customer marketing teams.
- Understand Environment- Competition - Track all promotional and in-store merchandizing initiatives of competition and use the inputs to plan & design Company strategy
- Analysis - Analyse off-take data of FSS Accounts to understand consumer trends and preferences
- Roll-out of category management activities in Key FSS Accounts
- Coordination with other function - Coordinate with DT in HO for multi-location FSS chains, facilitate coordination between the Head-Offices of FSS Accounts (located within a Colgate Branch Area) and CP Offices in other Branch Areas
- Coordinate with IDT team to ensure the seamless execution on promotion activities.
- Support in the Development of new Categories.
- Help FSS outlets serve as beach-heads for Company to develop niche segments (like premium toothbrushes) & new categories (like body wash & home care).
