Manager - Direct Taxation - CA - FMCG

One of the leading Indian MNC FMCG Company is looking out for Manager Taxation

Key Deliverables of the Role:

- Handling the direct tax function in particular finalizing returns

- Dealing with the income tax department

- Effective representation and resolution of direct tax matters with various tax authorities. Tribunals and courts

- Administering the relevant provisions of Direct Tax laws

- Evaluation & management of direct taxation issues as well as planning to minimize direct tax exposure of the company

- Providing practical advice on direct taxation issues and implementation of new operating structures and procedures

- Assist in tax planning on a continuous basis

- Resolution of tax disputes and assessment proceedings of different entities of the company

- In depth and practical knowledge of Indian income tax laws and other allied laws on direct taxes

- Good interpersonal skills particularly in dealing with government authorities

- Good commercial awareness and interpretation skills of various applicable business laws

- Sound knowledge of Indian accounting standards
