Manager - Digital & Technology

Job Description:

- The Manager- Digital will lead and oversee enterprise projects within the IT Technical Team's Integration function.

- This role involves providing strategic technical consultation while actively participating as a member of the IT team.

Responsibilities:

- Project Leadership: Lead and manage IT personnel in project execution, change management, and project management processes.

- Technical Consultation: Provide expert guidance in technical assessment, customization, and cost negotiation for projects.

- Production Support Consultation: Offer technical expertise in production support strategies and solutions.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of projects.

- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the strategic planning of IT initiatives, focusing on technical and functional excellence.

- Resource Management: Manage resources effectively to meet project timelines and objectives.

- Vendor Management: Engage with vendors to evaluate and negotiate technical solutions and services.

- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with integration projects.

- Process Improvement: Continuously improve processes related to technical integration and support.

- Team Development: Mentor and develop team members in technical skills and project management practices.

Technical/Functional Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Java Technologies including Spring Boot, JEE, Microservices, and AngularJS.

- Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, CI/CD pipelines, Gitlab, etc.

- Strong understanding of Project Management concepts including cost negotiation and delivery management.

- Comprehensive understanding of BFSI domain, particularly in lending processes from loan origination to disbursal.

- Expertise in databases like Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, including query optimization and database administration.

- Familiarity with Application Design Patterns, Business Design Patterns, Technical Design Patterns, and Java Design Patterns.

- Knowledge of Cloud Native applications, Docker, Kubernetes, and Unix/Linux administration.

Relevant certifications (e. , PMP, ITIL, AWS) would be advantageous.

- Experience in virtual machine creation and application migration strategies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- A Master's degree is preferred.

- Proven experience) in a technical leadership or managerial role within IT integration projects.

- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to successful completion
