Manager - Digital Marketing - B2C
About:
- This position is for a German brand well known for its premium products.
- Position is based in Gurgaon and we are looking for candidates only from fashion or lifestyle brands.
- Candidates must be in Delhi NCR region only and we are not looking at other locations.
Purpose and objectives of the job:
- Managing digital marketing campaigns and generating sales and revenue through digital marketing platforms for brand website and marketplace portals
- Improving website's visibility in search engine results and increasing organic traffic through keyword and content research and executing all the on- site and technical SEO optimization
- Develop the CRM framework, implement, launch and thereafter end to end management of the marketing automation tool with a clear objective of revenue maximization, enhancing customer experience, Retention and conversion.
Tasks and accountabilities: Build and manage the SEO strategy in close co- ordination with the external agency while aligning with global guidelines.
Keyword Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify relevant and high- performing keywords. Analyze keyword trends, competition, and search volume to develop effective SEO strategies.
- On- Page Optimization: Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and internal linking for improved search engine ranking.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO- friendly content that aligns with the chosen keywords. Create and maintain an editorial calendar for content publication.
- Link Building: Implement link- building strategies to acquire high- quality backlinks from authoritative websites.
Monitor and disavow toxic or low- quality backlinks:
- Technical SEO: Audit websites for technical SEO issues and recommend fixes for better performance. Ensure proper indexing of website pages by search engines.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze website traffic, rankings, and conversion rates using SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs). Provide regular reports and insights on SEO performance to management.
- Competitor Analysis: Research and analyze competitor SEO strategies to identify opportunities and threats.
- Develop the seasonal marketing calendar for webstores and marketplaces in alignment with the company merchandising strategy.
- Work with external agency to manage paid campaigns of all digital channels and platforms (like- Google ads, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI, CPC, CPM, and CAC).
- Marketing Automation: Configure, implement, and manage marketing automation platforms (preferably moengage) to create and deploy automated email marketing, SMS campaigns, whatsapp campaigns and other digital marketing initiatives.
- Customer Journey Optimization: Develop and optimize customer journey workflows to nurture prospective customers and retain current customers. Segment and personalize marketing communications based on customer behavior, preferences, and demographics.
- Execute best practice benchmarking and monitor the activities of competitors to drive new or improved CRM and customer experience solutions
- Execute A/B testing and analyze results to leverage the performance of all marketing campaign performance
- Responsible for the preparation of relevant KPIs as well as the development of reports and dashboards to inform business decisions and strategies
Competencies:
- Advanced understanding and practical experience in content marketing, SEO, SEM, Marketing automation and digital advertising (Google, Facebook, IG, LinkedIn)
- Expertise in Ad Manager, Google Analytics and Funnel Optimization
- Experience with SEO / SEM optimization
- Advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Salesforce and Shopify is highly preferred
- Strong presentation and communication skills are essential
- Ability to be flexible, perform well under pressure and manage priorities to deliver objectives within established timelines
- Detail orientated and demonstrates accuracy
- Proven ability to successfully work in a highly cross- functional environment
- Fluent English communication skills - oral and written
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital technologies or similar relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a digital marketing role involving SEO, Performance marketing and CRM
Personal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively in an international multicultural team.
