Strategic Roles & Responsibilities:

Acquisition & Management:

- Oversee alienation of acquired land and manage the implementation of Rehabilitation & Resettlement activities for displaced families.

- Manage DGPS surveys for land demarcation, ensuring approval from relevant authorities.

- Maintain accurate and timely land records with proper documentation and implement them within internal systems (DMS).

- Manage land acquisition activities with a focus on transparency, fairness, and minimizing social impact.

Community Development & CSR:

- Conduct needs assessments in project-affected villages by proactively engaging with affected communities.

- Develop and manage the annual CSR budget and calendar based on identified community needs and priorities.

- Identify and pursue opportunities for government/NGO-funded projects that benefit the communities.

- Address day-to-day operational issues faced by villages and villagers, acting as a liaison between them and relevant authorities.

- Build strong relationships with local Gram Panchayats, local leaders, government agencies, and the district administration to ensure effective implementation of CSR projects.

- Prepare award documentation for successful community development initiatives.

- Manage the publication of CSR events in the company foundation's website and/or local newspapers and magazines.

Technology & IT Enablement:

- Develop a thorough understanding of Land & Revenue Department online portals and their functionalities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in, Public Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).

- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in community development, land acquisition, or CSR (adjust experience based on your company's needs).

- Proven track record of successfully managing land acquisition processes while ensuring compliance with regulations and minimizing social impact.

- Strong understanding of government policies and procedures related to land acquisition and CSR initiatives.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and relationships with diverse stakeholders.

- Demonstrated ability to conduct needs assessments, develop project proposals, and manage budgets.

- Experience working with and engaging rural communities is a plus.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with relevant government online portals is a plus.
