We have an urgent opening with our client for the role of Manager in Mumbai.
Function: Defaulters’ Committee Section (DEFCOM), Investor Protection Fund Trust (IPFT) and IGC – Company Complaints.
Reports to – AVP
Purpose of the role:
- To oversee the functions of the Defaulters’ Committee Section, Investor Protection Fund Trust (IPFT) Section and Company Complaint’s Section and ensure smooth functioning and adherence to the various byelaws/rules/regulations and TAT’s.
- To engage in relationship building with regulators, implement the necessary process changes in the department to comply with SEBI circulars and incorporate the necessary amendments in the byelaws, Trust Deed, etc., wherever applicable.
- To recommend and initiate process improvements/ system developments and to monitor and control the team and process efficiency.
- To identify training needs of the team and conduct training programs.
Key Responsibility
1. Handle the investor claims for defaulting trading members
2. Handle activities pertaining to the Investor Protection Fund Trust
3. Quarterly DEFCOM / IPFT and Board meetings
4. Investor complaint redressal process for complaints against Companies
5. Publish MIS reports and monthly development reports.
6. Relationship management with regulators and handle queries for regulators/ investors
7. Periodic Clean up activity and system development initiatives
8. Withheld Securities
9. Sensitive Cases
10. Audit
11. Other Adhoc activities
Educational Qualifications
Essential – CA / CS degree
Desired – LLB degree
Knowledge of statutory requirements applicable to the financial markets is must.
Essential – 4-10 years of experience
Desired – Relevant experience in identifying and handling complex financial scenarios involving our customers in securities market
