International Analytics within CMB Analytics is a vertical that supports European Business through various analytical projects/solutions & management information. The focus is on the development, implementation and maintenance of the Risk based pricing model for the European countries. The team is also responsible for Data mart infrastructure development for the European countries along with various strategic analytical supports to the Business, addressing specific business requirements and Information management.

Job Description

The jobholder has to understand the business problem, design the framework and propose a structured solution in line with the business objective. A typical engagement might involve developing analytical solutions, strategic analyses and various management information for European region. Effective navigating & mobilizing skills to ensure he/she drives process efficiency initiatives in the team. The jobholder would play a key role in managing multiple stakeholders with strong project management skills.

- Responsible for handling multiple business partners

- Support business through different analytical solutions, strategic analyses, new MI development & generation, quality enhancement on the report output.

- Ensure adherence with all the applicable compliance policies (Data security policy, AML, operational risk, Functional manual, Group Compliance Manual, Audit recommendations, Internal Control requirements, regulatory guidelines, BCLD etc.) and business standards of Organization as applicable. Take timely action on Audit comments and be able to demonstrate compliance with internal controls.

- Build and validate European Datamart, establish project governance and produce well-defined project plans and should have the driving skill for flawless execution.

- Adopt appropriate data mining techniques to streamline the data requirements for Business dashboards from multiple countries along with effective report delivery.

- Use extensive automation techniques where possible to reduce on-going report production effort.

- Efficiently handle multiple projects

Skills/Experience Required

- Post Graduate degree in Statistics, Economics, Operation Research, Management, Computer Sciences, Engineering (BE/B-Tech) or any other relevant numerical discipline

- Strong analytical skills with at least 5+ years of relevant work experience in data analysis domain in financial services or banking.

- Advanced SAS and MS Excel skills including VBA, Database management and Data Analysis.

- Ability to assimilate large volumes of data and draw conclusions that are meaningful to the business.

- Person should be a subject matter expert on marketing domain. Experience in Commercial Banking is a plus.

- Hands on experience in develop & deployment of dashboards and automation framework.

- Good project management skills and ability to work under pressure & maintain the agreed Service Level Agreements.

- Strong mobilising skill and an ability to balance and handle multiple stakeholders, concurrent tasks and/or issues simultaneously.

- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, verbal and written communication skills.

- Proven success in contributing as an individual contributor. Work independently on driving various project initiatives across countries.
