Manager - Debt Solutions - Investment Banking Debt Solutions Team

Main Role (Overall accountability):

Be part of Debt Solutions team that is involved in full array of debt finance solutions including debt syndications, debt capital markets, senior, subordinated & structured products, Islamic financial advisory, and similar transactions.

Assist in the origination and execution of mandates for the Debt Solutions team with a primary focus on transaction structuring and in business development initiatives and activities.

Key Accountabilities:

- Analyze businesses, markets and industries independently and generate outputs.

- Identify clients- objectives, analyze and understand the business of the clients and have at all times a good understanding of the business of the clients.

- Conduct due diligence, perform financial analysis and review financial models,as required.

- Conceptualise and develop innovative transaction structures keeping in view the clients- objectives and market expectations and prepare commercial term sheets.

- Lead on end-to-end management of transactions and liaise with all parties involved in the transaction, as appropriate.

- Prepare Transaction notes, meeting notes, strategy reports, information memorandum or prospectus and any other documents or reports as appropriate.

- Support the marketing and placement of the transaction, including the preparation of presentations and marketing materials, as appropriate.

- Draft or review, as appropriate, relevant transaction documentation and support negotiations with lawyers and other external third parties.

- Develop and maintain client relationships.

- Interact with regulators (such as CBO, CMA, MSM) and other advisors (such as legal, accounting, technical, etc.).

- Support members of the team as appropriate.

- Support the needs of the Debt Solutions team as required

- Master of Business Administration(MBA)/Chartered Financial Analyst or Equivalent Qualifications

- Experience of around 6-8 years with an investment bank with a focus on developing and executing project & structured finance, leveraged finance, restructurings, capital market products and securitization structures.
