Our client is a MNC Bank with office at Lower Parel in Mumbai. We are looking for someone to be part of the Planning team and be responsible for Data Management and related responsibilities as below.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
1) Strategic / Managerial Responsibilities
- Identify trends in market-related to business and provide strategic recommendations for improvement in line with business objectives. "Strategic analysis & planning" for business promotion like Asset strategy, Self-analysis, Competitor analysis, Market analysis, New product planning and so on.
- Scanning & Analysis of Industry Peers/New businesses having a significant impact on the market
- Work on Financial Planning, Analysis, various reporting to assist the Business heads in tracking the key business parameters of the business.
- Analyze current and past financial data related to business, the performance of clients and establish and evaluate profit plans.
- Ensuring that strategic initiatives are driven across the business unit and key projects are tracked and monitored
2) Core Responsibilities :
- Analyze financials by collecting, monitoring, and studying the clientele and industry data.
- Preparation & analytical study of various financial reports viz. projected profitability statement, periodic financial report.
- Developing deliverables in developing the business strategy by performing analysis to deliver relevant and insightful management information, together with assisting in business planning and development.
- Manage and ensure execution of specific strategic assignments / projects initiated by the business.
3) Data Management and Planning
- Preparation and review of Profitability Reports and Variance analysis with estimates and projections.
- Preparation of presentations & reports of business for presentations to investors/stakeholders.
- Coordination of Finance meetings for Strategic issues & follow-up on the decided actions.
- Assist the Business head in generating and analyzing Business MIS & Financial MIS, Co-coordinating with various departments.
- Maintaining Ongoing matrix, reports, dashboards etc. to drive key business decisions.
EXPERIENCE :
- A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience with at least 3-4 years in a similar role. Must have excellent knowledge of excel. Macros will be an added advantage
- Prior experience in profile explained above
