Essential Responsibilities:
- Partner with Functional Loss Coordinators, Finance, Legal, Operations, Marketing, Corporate Insurance, Fraud and Risk Oversight to size loss data and escalate accordingly
- Oversee loss data entry to the ILD system (eGRC), including quality control testing
- Work with the ILD team to recommend eGRC system enhancements for the ILD module and assist with testing of those enhancements
- Maintain the Internal Loss Data (ILD) and External Loss Data (ELD) Procedures and oversee compliance with those procedures
- Lead efficient processes to optimize the capture and reporting of ILD for Synchrony
- Ensure high level of loss data report quality by ensuring a robust report and data validation process. Assist with periodic validations.
- Manage the loss data consortium reporting (ORX)
- Provide loss reporting to key stakeholders as needed.
- Perform additional duties/projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelors degree with 4+ years of experience in financial services or banking industry
- 2+ years of advanced MS Excel experience, Tableau or advanced data analytic tools and techniques
Desired Characteristics:
- Good understanding of financial services regulatory environment, including loss data requirements
- Desire to work with data, both at the detailed and summary levels
- Familiarity with loss data reporting and loss data consortiums
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
