Role Summary :
We are looking for a passionate Mid-Level Data Analytics Manager who is proficient in managing a team of Data Analysts and also possesses advance level skills in analysing large amounts of raw data to find patterns and transform the data into business insights / information / knowledge (data mining skills).
- This role requires good understanding of business processes and data produced by them and know how to analyse system requirements, implement migration methods and perform data mining on existing data. Should be familiar with predictive analysis and data visualization techniques using relevant tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, R, Python) is a must.
- This role requires highly analytical skills with knack for analysis, math and statistics (must) Critical Thinking and problem-solving skills are minimum essentials for interpreting data.
- Good team management & development skills. Must lead the team by example.
Responsibilities :
- Managing & prioritization of tasks on hand, managing work pipeline flawlessly.
- Master solution developer and go getter in business development who works persistently towards developing & maintaining a healthy work pipeline.
- Well experienced in distribution of work as per team members core skill, provide needed guidance to the team members.
- During the course of time the team is expected to be cross trained to minimise delivery timeline slippage because of unforeseen even where a team member is not temporarily available in the office
- Work with the stakeholders / management to prioritize business & information needs and propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
- Analyse and interpret trends & patterns in complex data sets using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Acquire data from primary and secondary data sources and undertake pre-processing of structured and unstructured data
- Cleanse- data by review performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
- Create and implement database, data collection system, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Locate & define new process improvement opportunities and identify valuable data sources to automate collection processes
- Working with team, bringing best practices and helping each other on crunch time to meet client deliverables
- Ensure accuracy and timelines of assigned deliverables. Maintaining and adhering to Quality Management System
- Develop standard operating procedures and pass knowledge tests to evolve knowledge
- Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts. Present information using visualization techniques
- Good knowledge or MSBI suite along with experience to handle SQL database creation (DDL, DML), Power BI build (strong experience in writing DAX) in individual capability.
- Build predictive models and has applied knowledge of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning techniques - should be able to showcase couple of examples with historical work and apply that knowledge which is adept to our industry
This job may turn out to be a high-pressure job for someone who does not have adequate management & work prioritization experience. Usual work day may be quite dynamic with lots of moving parts. The key to success of the person will be a mix of management & technical expertise.
