Purpose of Job : Evaluation of strategic initiatives through data-based decisions and supporting business plans & business development teams with market intelligence and in-depth analysis of industry scenarios.
Main tasks and responsibilities (not limited to):
- Evaluating white spaces in IMCD India offering (market size, growth rates, competition, margins etc.) and identify ways to bridge the gap.
- Providing key insights to manager and business unit heads to support them with their expansion plans.
- Identifying new potential acquisitions/ suppliers/ product ranges for developing IMCD India's market share.
- Performing competitor benchmarking and updating business heads on the emerging trends and market intelligence.
- Updating business unit heads and senior management on a continuous basis on the key development and events in the distribution industry.
- Designing the process for assessing customer satisfaction and collating feedback on organization's performance.
- Analyzing import and sales data across different sectors and liaising with business unit heads on the findings.
- Keep abreast of market events and analyze/ present the impact on the entity's operations.

- Ability to handle big data and large excel sheets and perform various analysis on the data using excel tools.
- Ability to make informed decisions based on data and support business strategies for each business unit.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a mindset to partner with internal and external customers and build strong professional relationships.
- Good knowledge of translating business objectives to communication objectives.

Essential Qualifications:
- Full-time Post-Graduate Degree preferably in Pharmacy / Engineering
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Course in Data Analysis/ Analytics preferred.
Essential Experience : 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Research, Market Intelligence within Chemicals Industry preferred.
